From our nation’s beginning, we’ve frequently had to defend our freedoms, our beliefs, and our ideals. We’ve depended on our young men and women to step up and put their lives on the line. Many have stepped up, and many have paid the ultimate price. Marine LCpl Travis Layfield was, and is, one of those American Heroes. He was KIA – April 6, 2004 – Ramadi, Iraq Travis was a son, brother, father, grandson, uncle, friend and Hero. Respected by all, unselfish, concerned for his fellow Marines, always willing to step up, never afraid to be the first “thru the door”. We need to keep his name and memory alive, along with all of those that have made the ultimate sacrifice – without question, and without hesitation.

Proceeds will benefit the Gold Star Memorial and Reception to honor California’s Gold Star Families and for other veteran related support efforts and programs.
